Dodecanese Islands
Dodecanese islands are located off the Southwest coast of Turkey, and it is made up of 12 large and 150 smaller islands. All the islands contain a rich history, even the smallest of the inhabited pride themselves in housing dozens of Byzantine churches and Medieval castles. The most important of all the islands are Rhodes, Kos, and Patmos. According to archeological research the earliest civilization to occupy this chain of islands were the Minoians. This chain is the birth to some of the earliest works and theories of philosophy, medicine, economy, and trade. The weather is mild Mediterranean, which means sunny, dry summers and mild winters. The enchanting beaches of Dodecanese will have visitors falling in love and never wanting to leave. The islands of the Dodecanese offer everything from traditional whitewashed inns to luxury resorts. There is a reason why these islands are a desired travel destination world wide. Each individual island has its own rich culture and history that has been well preserved through out the years. There is a lifelong memory waiting for everyone in the sunny Dodecanese.
Kos

Kos
Kos is the second most popular destination after Rhodes. The beauty of Kos lies in the inner part of the island, as visitor travel through Kos they will fall in love with its charming, unspoiled villages, magnificent beaches, and beatiful vegetation. The Roman Doctor Gallino once distinguished the island of Kos as 'the most temperate place in the world.'  Kos was also the birthplace of Hippocrates, the father of medicine, and he later founded the School of Medicine on the island. The castle of the Knights of St. John is located on the island to this day, which makes for a great day tour. Accomodations on Kos ranges from world class hotels catering to every need to the more personal by-gone era of family owned hotels and 'bed and breakfasts'. The beaches of Kos range from seclusion to busy organised beaches that offer many of the water sport activities.

Rhodes

The island of Rhodes is home to 125,000 year around residents and 3000 hours of sunshine per year, giving it the nickname 'island of light'. The island is the financial and cultural center of the southern east Aegean, successfully blending the active present-day with its rich cultural surroundings. The Colossus of Rhodes, a statue that stood 30 meters (107 ft) high at the mouth of the harbor, was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World in ancient times. The statues was destroyed by an earthquake in 226 BC and was never rebuilt. Rhodes has had its share of conquerors, each of them leaving their mark adding to the rich cultural heritage of Rhodes. The island offers some of the most aesthetic beaches in all of the Aegean. The beach at Kalithea Bay is a cinematic concoction of blue waters, exotic vegetation, and the aesthetic Italian Spa monument. The island of Rhodes has something for everyone- it doesn't matter if you're a shopaholic, with your family, a student, professor, or just looking for a good time, Rhodes has it all.

Patmos
Patmos
Relaxation! With no nightlife what so ever, this charming island is the perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation. Patmos is the island of divine intervention, this is where John the Evangelist  wrote the Book of Revelations in 95 AD, and in his honor they built a Monestary right outside of an unspoiled medieval town. Patmos is sometimes referred to as the "Jerusalem of the Aegean". Visitors to Patmos can also view the cave where the angel appeared to John and showed him the revelations. There are day tours available to this island, but to really experience the magic, one has to spend a few days and live like a local. Food is great all around! The northern beach Lambi is composed of beautiful volcanic rock fragments, while Psili Amos (the southern beach) is just an absolute paradise that is only accessible by boat.
